HI, I am a native to Colorado and have lived in other areas but always return to this beautiful state. I have loved all sci-fi as long as I can remember and have always had a love for Star Wars, even the Rebel Scum. I have shared this love of Star Wars with my little boy who has been a Storm Trooper, Jawa, and most recently Kylo Ren at the Denver Comic Con. In 2015 I finally decided to take on the task to fabricate and build a TK suit. I didn't know where to go or what to do. I had seen the MG501 at several events; DCC, StarCon, and some other charity events and were given instruction to join the forums and find out more about the group. I joined the MG501 to find help so I could make a childhood dream come true. I purchased a rough TK kit from ANOVOS in November 2015 - it finally shipped and was delivered in early March of 2016. The task of putting the kit together seemed overwhelming at times and I didn't think I would be able to complete it by the time I set for DCC 2016. I ran into a few hiccups and moments of frustration and after tons of encouraging words and plenty of direction I completed my TK suit a few days shy of the DCC. I wore it for a full 6 1/2 hours while my son was Kylo Ren. Shortly after the DCC I submitted my TK for approval and after a few minor modifications I was approved. this has been the best time experience and I wouldn't have changed a thing.
