About Me
Costuming and Star Wars have been life long interests so why haven't I done this earlier? Why, I learned to sew because of Star Wars ( A New Hope ). Summer (way back) - got some mail from my parents (the kind with an actual stamp) "Saw this movie we think you'll like." So I had grandma drive me 40 miles to a theater and the love affair began...
Mom wouldn't sew me a Princess Leia costume, as she only worked with patterns and there was none to be had in '77. So I took it upon myself to modify an angel costume made for me a Halloween previous.
Among the general public, I probably have a heightened appreciation of the efforts and accuracy of the costumes of the 501st Legion. They outright give me chills!
